Dear Mitch,
It is trublesome to process the 2K Manufacturing Data within 64K EC code
area. Due to the 64K Erase Bytes of most spi flash part , when we access
2K Manufacturing Data area , it might cause the EC code to corrupt.
Therefore we suggest changing its location. We can think over its
feasibility. Thanks a lot.
[The specific suggestion is to move the 2K manufacturing data from its
current location at 0x0f800..0ffff to 0xef800..effff, so that it is in an
erase block by itself, instead of in the same erase block as the EC code]
