 It would be even more useful if the owner's name, which they enter into
 Sugar, would get stored by Sugar into reserved flash, so the splash screen
 can display it.  It's easier for kids to remember their names than seven-
 digit numbers.  This will require great fonts -- or storing a bitmap.  If
 you store the bitmap for OFW's use, I strongly suggest passing down the
 Unicode representation too.

 I think the XO model name (like B2 or Brazil) and serial number should be
 displayed too.  And if significant differences are likely to exist in
 hardware configurations, such as if countries buy them with extra RAM or
 Flash, or different batteries, the installed capacity should be noted.

 Hmm, Mitch, have we been here before?  Didn't the Sun boot roms print all
 this stuff, along with the keyboard type?  :-)
