 B2 laptop screen looks washed-out when viewed from angles even as small as
 20 or 25 degrees away from vertical.  It's easiest to see when looking at
 a brightly colored photo or web page.  The person right in front of the
 keyboard gets the full effect -- but any bystanders think that the display
 is in pastels.
