 Richard Hughes is working on 'ohm' (a power management daemon) which in
 the end sugar should talk to.  For Trial2, depending on the ohm schedule,
 we may need to modify the hardware manager to recognize the new battery
 layout.  I think we can probably use ohm first though, and then sugar just
 talks to ohm instead of HAL.
