 The RPM mentioned above is incorrect.  The kernel that I used is:

 git master, commit 50822dfb280c7d63f5cf215b78ef37978060f158

 + the 3 patches below

 http://dev.laptop.org/~marcelo/libertas_resume/

 + enable USB_PERSIST USB_DEVICE_CLASS and in .config
