Comment:

 Icon localization will have to happen in certain places, though we'd like
 to minimize it as much as possible.  I think the most important part of
 the undo/redo pair is that they read as inverses of each other, which the
 curved arrows clearly do.  We can easily switch 'undo' and 'redo' based on
 the text direction, I suppose.

 I'm not sure if that's even necessary, though, since it applies to all
 forms of action, and not strictly text.  It really indicates a 'back' and
 'forward' semantic more than anything.  No ones suggesting that the '<'
 and '>' arrows in the web browser should be switched (or are they?), so
 I'm not sure that it matters for undo/redo either.
