Comment (by jfuhrer):

I've been able to reproduce a bug when exiting Paint with alt-C, but I
don't think it's the X server that's crashing, since I'm still able to
bring up the rolldown taskbars and use the cursor. I don't *think* the
crash I've been experiencing is related - seems more likely to be related
with another bug in Paint, and this one is consistently reproducable 100%
of the time, but I might as well post it to see if this rings any bells.

 OFW: QC218

 Build: 451

 Procedure:

 1. Open Paint from the taskbar.

 2. Close Paint with alt-C. The whole screen will turn gray rather than
 returning to the donut.

Like I said, though, you're still able to get back to the donut eventually
because you can still access the taskbar, so I don't think what I'm
getting is the same problem (plus I'm using build 451, so the only way to
get out of Paint is alt-C - haven't been able to test it using any other
methods). It's probably a separate bug that should be reported on its own.
But it seemed similar enough that it was worth mentioning, just in case.
