 From Shiga-san:

The down of power operation that had gotten into the news with the mail
before was built in from the following C-TEST ver
 ?
 Product :? C-test ( Production day: July.20 )
 Device ID  :   67  00 3C  --->   67 00 50

Besides this, the executive program for mass production was built in.

It is details of PowerDown mode.
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 10) The PowerDown Mode command (All functions are stopped). *D
 ver
EC EC EA EC : PowerDown Mode(Suspend mode)

If the command is received, the function is stopped and it becomes low
current consumption operation. The restoration method enters the state of
Power ON by making the MS-DAT signal Low.
Afterwards, the communication will become possible in about one second.

 ex. EC(FA) EC(FA) EA(FA) EC(FA)
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Current consumption becomes about 50uA when becoming this mode.
The method of operation again is a thing to make the signal line of MS-
DAT Low. This operation is the same as doing operation that sends the
 command to HGPK (device).

Comment (by jg):

 Andres,

First, we need to check that the version ID change will not break the
driver. My memory is that the driver are very tolerant of version
changes. As soon as that is done, please comment on this item and lower
its priority from "blocker". We need to ensure CTest will go smoothly,
 and once bit, twice shy.

Secondly, we need to use the low power mode of the touchpad/keyboard
appropriately. Certainly, when the lid switch says the laptop is closed,
we should save the power. Obviously, we have other work to do that will
save more power to do first. So the milestone and priority can be shoved
out once the version ID check has been done.
