 Marco and Noah and Michael chatted about this a few weeks ago and agreed
 that the basic proposal outlined in the cited email was sound.

 We (Noah and Michael) have a patch to Sugar which will implement the basic
 required change there which we have tested on Sugar b451. However, this
 patch cannot be applied until Rainbow is included in the build.
