Comment:

 Thanks to Adam - he figured this one out.  The GX copy routine was using
 the wrong bit depth.  Fixed that - and all is well in Tamtam land (among
 others).

 Fixed in d.l.o commit: ccb99131b0835f46c23cf2b736277f6adaac975d
