 Replying to [ticket:1894 Zack]:
 > I am seeing several tracebacks in Chat.log. I am unsure if these should
 be separate issues, so I'll just attach the whole thing for now. This is
 occuring in build 482.

 I suspect this is due to the Collabora server which hosts the
 PresenceService, being down today, and the activity not handling failure
 of that too well.

 I'll put in a fix for that soon.
