Comment:

 Note: I've seen behaviour where certain firmware commands which are
 generated from running repeated "iwconfig" causes the device to be non-
 functional (I forgot the details at the moment).

 I'll take a closer look at this (ie try to reproduce it) this week, if Dan
 does not beat me to it.
