 Christian, we made the timeout purposefully long for now, to be
 conservative since so many were complaining about accidental activation.
 The plan is to shorten the interval bit by bit until it feels right,
 rather than the other way around.  I think we'll probably settle for
 something around 1 sec, eventually, because I'd rather err on the side of
 slightly too long than too short.

 Your comments about the corners and the delay on exiting the frame are
 correct.
