 We should toss the terminal fonts as well.

 Bitstream Vera Sans Mono (or Deja Vu, derived from it) is explictly
 intended to be a programmer's font, (distinguishing 1 from l, and O from
 0).

 We should, however, set up aliases for antique programs that expect old
 core fonts.
