Comment:

 Fair enough; I think I agree.

 We can certainly do a better job naming in the near term.  Let me make one
 small change to the way you describe it.  The primary palette can support
 primary and secondary titles for a single object.  I propose that we
 retain the simple naming scheme outlined in the spec for the primary title
 (eg. "Text clipping", "Image Clipping", etc.) for clippings without pre-
 existing names, placing the head of the string in the secondary title,
 which also allows it to be slightly longer and visually separated.

 Then, for clippings with pre-existing names (once we add support for them)
 we can add "From <activity>" secondary titles (eg "From Paint", "From
 Browse") to indicate where they came from.

 We'll need the string functions that rwh has been working on to truncate
 the strings with ellipses.
