 It appears that, unlike most wireless laptops, the XO only scans for
 wireless signals on channels 1, 6, and 11. Since all the other channels
 overlap one or more of these, the symptom of not setting your wireless
 access point to one of these 3 channels will be unreliable operation,
 because IF the XO finds it, it will transmit to and receive from it on the
 nearest of 1,6,11. Not a fatal flaw in the XO, but I (and apparently
 others) often use one of the overlapping channels to keep my router's
 wireless light from blinking endlessly due to general neighborhood
 traffic. With the XO, I can't do that any more.
