#5765: Back and Forward drop-down menus disappear

When browsing this website (dev.laptop.org), if, after having entered
(clicked into) a ticket detail page that contains a wiki-dynamically-
generated link to another bug/ticket in the main body (i.e. #5751 appears
in the source), you navigate back by pressing the back button, the forward
button looses its drop-down menu. The forward history is no longer
visible and forward navigation can only proceed one page at a time (can't
skip ahead) for the rest of the life of that instance of Browse.
If, however, after having browsed into one of those link-to-another-
ticket-containing detail pages, you click on the link it contains to
another bug (instead of back-tracking), and ''if that second ticket-detail
page also contains a wiki-dynamically-generated link to another ticket
detail'', then the '''back''' button looses its drop-down menu. At this
point, the forward drop-down menu is still working, and if you type a new
URL into the URL field, it should continue working for the life of the
instance (although the back button drop-down will not).
''However'', if after having made the drop-down of the back button
disappear, you ''then'' backtrack once, the forward button drop-down also
disappears, leaving you with no forward or back drop-downs for the rest of
the life of that instance of Browse.
I have also experienced this behavior in other web sites, but
dev.laptop.org is the only place where I have been able to reproduce this
behavior consistently.
Also, in looking at the back or forward button itself, it looks like the
~1 pixel gray line that borders the sides and top of the button is
inverted when this behavior is displayed. Is it possible that the drop-
down itself is being inverted, and is being drawn off-screen?
As far as I can tell, no log information prints at all when performing
these actions in Browse.
