Comment:

 Unless you have a mesh portal set up, the mesh will be isolated from the
 internet.  You can be connected to a mesh, or to an access point, but not
 both right now.  There are directions in the wiki on how to set up a mesh
 portal (unfortunately the dhcpd server we have right now is a huge memory
 pig; we can't therefore leave this on by default; fixed in a future
 release).
