 Some SD cards won't power up properly unless you put a delay after the
 reset-card command.  One example is a Kingston 4 GB SDHC card.

 Empirically, 60 microseconds between reset-card and send-if-cond is
 enough, but the Linux driver uses 1 ms, so that is probably better.
