 After watching the video, I confirm I have never seen this particular kind
 of touchpad bug.  It looks closer to #4554 than this bug, but failing to
 move horizontally is really unheard of.  I doubt my fix and dilinger's can
 help here.

 If it's a calibration issue, smithbone is working with ALPS to find a
 solution.
