 Scott:

 Our processes *are* currently broken: the lack of them means we missed
 getting this firmware into 653, and the net result at this scale is that
 some batteries will fail, and we'll have some unhappy people as a result.
 And we lack process to ensure it gets into joyride, or our updates; it
 should have been there days ago.

 Our processes should ensure the issues get examined *every* time, and that
 there is a concrete decision be taken *every* time as to what the right
 course of action is.
