What I need to know is:

  * would it instead work on a regular PC with a regular Spanish keyboard?

  * does it work on an XO with an external USB keyboard in Spanish?

I have no idea if the problem is that we're using using a different
phisical layout or something else. What I know for sure about is that we
did not customize the kernel keymap files shipped with Fedora.
