 Is perhaps /etc/X11/xorg.conf symlinked to xorg-emu.conf?

 Yesterday dgilmore untagged the olpc-utils package in Koji because we were
 seeing build failures and were unsure what was causing them.

 I don't have a laptop with me atm.
