#5468: OHM should not disable itself when on AC
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
Reporter: cjb | Owner: cjb
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: high | Milestone: Update.1
Component: power manager (OHM) | Version:
Keywords: power | Verified: 0
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
In Peru (and other places), people will have power that appears as AC but
should be conserved just as heavily as battery power is. Being on AC
shouldn't mean that the laptop disables all power management.
This has the downside that plugging in AC was a quick way to disable the
idle suspend completely. People will now have to touch /etc/ohm/inhibit-
suspend or send a dbus message to turn off idle suspend. It might be a
good idea if sugar exposed that setting somewhere, I'm not sure.
