 Yesterday I noticed that HAL always thought ac_adapter.present was true,
 even though I was inserting and removing the AC adapter, and it persisted
 across reboot (but not across taking the battery out to reset the EC).
 Richard says he thinks he's seen the SCI mask get screwed up before, and
 that would explain this.

 This is a really nasty bug for update.1; OHM doesn't do anything if it
 thinks we're on AC.
