 In my current Joyride version 1377 there is now a very small delay in
 showing the palette of an adjoining button (less than a second), which
 pretty much fixes it for me. Accidental and momentary slips of the cursor
 doesn't immediately switch the palette we are focusing on.

 I can't remember which version of joyride it started behaving this way
 though.
