Comment:

 I could reproduce it with wad's B3 too.  New findings:

  - Today it's rather colder, so it does not seem to be related to
    temperature (RafaelOrtiz may be observing a different bug on
    the trackpad?)

  - I double checked and the bug *is* definitely reproducible in
    the console with gpm.  (dilinger, this time I have smithbone
    as an eye witness ;-)

  - Tomeau confirmed that the tamtam issue is totally unrelated:
    they move the mouse to the center of the screen intentionally.
