 Pentagram and I both feel that it is a mistake to keep the frame always
 visible on the Home screen.  Although it does let children know it's
 there, we're afraid that it will actually make them associate it
 ''solely'' with the Home screen, and not discover that it travels with
 them to all views.

 Instead we'd really like to have the frame visible for the first 2-3
 seconds at the home screen after a boot, and then hide.  This should be
 enough to indicate it's presence at the edge of the screen.  And encourage
 them to explore until they find it, which wouldn't take long based on
 Fitt's Law.
