 The desired arrangement of icons within the Home screen is in a line,
 centered, along the bottom of the screen.  This will make them a bit
 easier to locate spatially, relative to each other.  They should have the
 following order:

 battery, camera, mic, [network, device 1, ..., device n]

 Note that the only icons that should appear all the time are the battery,
 camera, and mic icons.  The presence of the network icon is discussed in
 detail in #2664.  The device icons should appear as they are plugged in,
 with newly plugged in devices appended to the end of the list of devices.
 The palettes for the devices should match the spec listed in #2652, with
 the addition of an option (first in the list, actually) to "Show
 contents."  Selecting this option will focus the Journal with the
 appropriate tab automatically selected.
