Comment (by wmb at firmworks.com):

Quanta needs to provide a complete and accurate specification of how to
determine the battery status using EC port 6c commands.

The current implementation of watch-battery is based on the information in
 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Ec_specification

That information is incomplete. For example, it does not mention the
units for voltage (command 0x10), the units for current (command 0x11),
the meaning and values for ACR (command 0x12), the units for battery
temperature (0x13) and ambient temperature (0x14). The battery status
byte information is incomplete, because I have seen bit 6 change, even
though it is listed as reserved. The units of SOC (command 0x16) are not
 specified.

How do I determine whether the battery is charging or discharging? Do
"battery is present" but "battery is NOT low" and "battery is not fully
 charged" imply charging or discharging?
