 I would expect something like this to work:

   gst-launch-0.10 ximagesrc ! ffmpegcolorspace ! pngenc ! filesink
 location=foo.png

 but for me, at least, it doesn't work on an OLPC build (as of 385 at
 least) and I don't have a suitable non-OLPC machine to test it on at
 present.
