 First of all, this is not about the quite understandably silent keys
 scattered around the middle of the keyboard. The following however are
 definitely being wasted:

 backtick, ..., 9, 0, equals, erase

 tab, ..., O, P, left bracket, right bracket

 ctrl, ..., semicolon, backslash

 left shift, ..., period, slash, right shift, up arrow, multiplication
