 I'm inclined to agree.  Also, the Helix folks got a helix plug in working
 last Friday, and that may be more immediately interesting/useful.
 Hopefully we'll see that this week, maybe in the next day or so.

 And it can be installed after the fact as well, without requiring the
 level of testing we'd need for any external application launcher system
 (even using hardwired Helix patches), that you've now convinced we don't
 have time for testing between now and FISL.

 The crashing problem and the back button problems, however, are a
 different story.

 I think I know enough now having perused IETF documents last night to
 propose a temporary mime-type for sugar activities to use, though I think
 I also need to know more than I currently do about parameters and the
 like.

       application/vnd.olpc-x-sugar

 is a possibility.  If I get an instant, I'll put my nose back into the
 docs and understand more, but this should be enough to get started.
 Getting it (or what we figure out is right) formally registered someday
 will  be some effort on a mailing list, as we'll
 have to answer questions about "security considerations" that come up with
 any executable media type.
