 The exensible activity-independent object type system is waaay past trial
 1.  Either we (1) hardcode Helix or (2) do nothing.  Hardcoding Helix will
 take at least a day of implementation and a day or two to test.  I really
 don't feel comfortable changing this at the last minute, not to _mention_
 the fact that we only got the Helix activity 3 days before the final
 freeze.  It's just too late IMHO, just like it was too late last Friday
 when you asked about it Jim.
