 To be clear, this bug is only about the single bit of information that is
 whether the screen is in flat "ebook" mode or is in the normal vertical
 mode, and we believe we have that bit already, we just don't know where
 exactly it is.

 Accelerometers are indeed very interesting; we found that we could write
 at 15wpm using one hand and an ipaq+accelerometer with Dasher.
