New description:
We think there's a bit somewhere that tells us which orientation the
screen is in; we'll need that to implement RandR, but first (for this bug)
we want to know that the detection is functioning, and how to access it.
I think the priority is only appropriate in terms of understanding the
cost curve of the technology for if/when it is feasible for us to afford
it.
Comment:
No accelerometer, unfortunately. We should research current costs of them
for Gen2/Gen3. My personal experience of having a screen with an
accelerometer is that you can, in an afternoon, have intuitive screen
rotation, not to mention other uses.
