 Yes, I've built a slimmed down g-p-m for testing and am integrating the
 OLPC battery class code into HAL. I've managed to get g-p-m to change the
 brightness thru HAL (to save power) but I really am waiting on the
 uevent/poll on ec change from David Woodhouse for battery abstraction. I
 also need to know what you guys want to expose in the sugar UI - for
 instance, how do you convey to the user the remaining battery time?
