 On conventional machines, the startup of the window system is often left
 until last or nearly last: some of the components to be started may be on
 different file systems, not mounted early, etc.

 On a system like ours, with some work, it is very likely we can
 start X, Sugar, and applications much sooner than other system services
 that aren't needed as quickly, improving the user experience.
