 We need some way to distinguish different board versions in firmware and
 software.  So far we can distinguish between A and B1 by checking the EC
 type.

 The board ID could be reported by
 a) A tag in the manufacturing data
 b) Resistively strapping the GNT0#, GNT1#, GNT2# pins on the GX chip (good
 for 8 distinct IDs)
 c) Resistively strapping the IDE_DATA lines on the 5536 chip (good for
 thousands of IDs).
