might work, but I'm having trouble imagining how that would work. :)
<cjb> The idea is that we sleep whenever we don't have input to respond to
and aren't in the middle of something, and wake up again when we get input
or an alarm.
<marcopg> cjb, that seem to work ok for this case though. If there is no
input, it's unlikely that you care about having the list of activities
updated...

of view yeah
<marcopg> mm I don't think it's worth it probably, some mechanism to
signal sugar to update the registry should work well enough
<marcopg> normally activities will be installed from the UI anyway, so we
can signal sugar transparently
<cjb> Yeah. Whqt you're suggesting might end up working, but I think we
should wait until we have sleep working and can see whether it does work,
before we play with adding polls.
