[laptop-accessibility] Considering closing down the mailing list accessibility at lists.laptop.org

Greetings list members,

Since I broached the topic of closing down this list nearly a month ago
on August 20th, we had a very brief flurry of of e-mail messages in
August
<http://lists.laptop.org/pipermail/accessibility/2013-August/thread.html>,
all in the "considering closing down" thread.

While some used that thread to mention other things (e.g. to observe
that the latest XO Tablet runs Android under the covers, or to ask about
iPhone accessibility, or to mention related work on Ubuntu), I haven't
seen any concrete discussions about OLPC accessibility advancements.
And no further traffic to the list in September.

What I have seen are a few +1 "votes" for closing down the list. And
several hundred more SPAM messages.

So... unless someone writes to me volunteering to take over list
management, I plan to close the list down in the coming few days.

Regards,

Peter
