Hi there,

Do you know how far this is from Montreal... I'd love to come if I can find a way to make it.

Thanks,

Subject: [Toronto-dev] Sun Sept 18: Canada's Own OLPC Community BBQ!

A quite unbelievable group of OLPC social entrepreneurs and
volunteers working in Kenya, Haiti, South American, Central America
(and Canada!) have clustered around Toronto and Southern Ontario in
recent years, and are now coming together to discuss the very latest
around all 3 "current" generations of laptops (XO-1, XO-1.5 and
    XO-1.75).

And of course the latest insider rumors on the upcoming XO-3 tablet!

What an important time for Canada's Best to kick back and reflect on
what's really emerging from our almost-4-year-effort now, providing
free and open software making exploratory learning happen. Among
the world's poorest chidren, inside schools and far beyond -- across
so many nations, one kid at a time... SAVE THE DATE SUNDAY SEPT 18!

All are most welcome to join us if you reply -- that means everyone,
Intl Development specialists, curriculum experts, and...teachers
into technology especially! We just ask you to RSVP for the
address of the private garden and farmhouse where this will be
      hosted, thanks =)

        OLPC Community BBQ

        Sunday, Sept 18

        4-9PM

        Elora, Ontario

That's 1+ hr West of Toronto, or 15+ min drive NE of Waterloo, or
15+ min drive NW of Guelph. Thanks and hope to see you there!!
