We can certainly get it from Toronto to the www.ntiguischool.com project in Kenya in March. We have spare batteries.

It's my understanding that the OLPC Canada project is all 1.5's, not 1.0's.

Also, I think Mr. Mak is also always looking for XO 1.0's if one prefers a First Nation's project.

hi there

I have an xo, and I have enjoyed it, and am willing to donate it to a child or school. I think it *does* need a new battery, but works great when it's plugged in.

Do you know where I might send it (in original box)...................or else I can post in olpc forum.

Creative Canadians :)

Who on this list can please find a good home/school/child for Clare's XO??
And if possible buy a new battery here: http://iLoveMyXO.com :)

PS If Canadian ideas don't emerge, I'm in personal contact with Haitians (north Port-au-Prince especially: http://bluetarpschool.blogspot.com)
who would be happy to receive this XO, but first please also give each of these groups a chance:

Team Madagascar would be thrilled to receive it. I could make arrangements to have it brought west by one of our Canadian visitor/family members.
