<p class="MsoNormal">First of all I would like to congratulate you for the
creation of this activity. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">It’s really those type of easy educational games that
the XO needs. I’m looking forward for your next one about Water.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I just tested it for our OLPC project in Oceania as we
have Malaria in Vanuatu, Solomon islands , PNG… and it will be very
useful for children in those countries.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>I have a few comments and suggestions concerning the
message:</b></p>
<p><span>1.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>The boy is bitten by a mosquito and the comment is <i>“He
was now infected with the malaria parasite</i>” That’s not entirely
true: First the mosquito should be from a certain type (anopheles), and second
the mosquito should already be infected.</p>
<p><span>2.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>Showing a girl bitten by a mosquito the comment is : <i>“parasites
are carried back into the mosquito the next time it bites a person”</i>.
It would be better to say “when he bites a person already infected by
malaria parasites”.</p>
<p><span>3.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>Concerning the symptoms : <i>“you can get high
temperature, fever or start sweating”</i> I would rather keep either
“high temperature” or “fever”, I don’t see the
point of keeping both.</p>
<p><span>4.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>When the Mum is spraying the windows screen, I
don’t see why it is written <i>“His mother now keeps the windows
closed” </i>then what is the point of having mosquitoes screen? Rather
say something like, “his Mum can now leave the windows open because of
the mosquito screen”.</p>
<p><span>5.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>This map shows only the distribution of Malaria
Falciparum, while there are 3 other types. I would be more accurate to take a
map showing countries infected by any types of Malaria parasites. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Few other comments on the developer side:</b></p>
<p><span>1.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>On the last picture with <i>“The end”,</i>
if you want to restart the game, there is the icon at the top with the round
arrow saying “Restart the scene or the game”, it should be called
only <i>“Restart the scene”</i> as shown on the home page, as when
you click on it nothing happen.</p>
<p><span>2.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>If you click on the home icon then a message appears
with a spelling mistake <i>“Resart game?”</i>, and telling you <i>“you
are in the middle of a game. Are you sure you want to go to the home
screen”. </i>In fact you are not in the middle you are at the end…
I assume this is the same message which appears when you want to quit in the
middle of the game.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>And finally a question : </b></p>
<p><span>1.<span style="font: 7pt "Times New Roman";">
</span></span>Will it be easy to swap the world map to a Map of the
Pacific region if we want to adapt it for OLPC Oceania?</p>
