Next time you see a fs-update related problem please note the firmware version.

I suspect what might have happened is that the flash completed but it
printed a misleading error (old firmware version).
Then you rebooted, it upgraded the firmware, and when you tried again
you were running a fixed firmware version.

We have some issues with libertas on suspend/resume, hopefully to be
fixed soon. Please keep testing.
