It depends what you mean about 'active developers' ;) but I have been doing maintenance releases and trying to coordinate with other interested folks, and some of the original authors from time to time.
Tabitha: Thanks for the feedback, on my todo list we did discuss some world simulation level options. At the time were thinking more like several preset world types to choose from with different gravity, drag, etc. Custom density settings for objects is definitely on the todo, as it object trails for tracing paths and pendulum swings (rocket motors, lighter than air objects, button/key driven motors). However my priority first is to get Physics moved away from olpcgame, and onto sugargame, so we can avoid some of the multi thread issues we currently have (pretty sure that's why we get a abnormal termination logged just after stopping the activity).
