[Testing] Lost Communication in 10.1.3?

Hi...

Prepping some XOs for our booth at SCaLE 9X Feb 26-27.  When I first started charging and testing I was running 10.1.2.  I tried Chat and found that the XO-1s could easily chat with the XO-1.5s.

Then I updated all of them to 10.1.3, and this ability seems to have been lost.  While the XO-1.5s connected right away to the ad hoc network, the XO-1s were totally left out.  They can only see each other.

Is this an intentional change?  Is there a way for both models to communicate among themselves in 10.1.3?
