You are aware that IRC is the preferred instant messaging
between OLPC developers and the community ?
See http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Communication_channels#Channels
for a list of IRC channels being used.
Developers tend to congregate on #olpc-devel.   It is a good
place to look for an answer to a technical question most hours
of the day or night.
