[Testing] Conf Call: OLPC QA Sync-up

Thanks to all the new people from Virtusa, Inc in Hyderabad, India and 
Sri Lanka who joined us on the phone this morning!

1) Please send me your Hyderabad shipping address and phone number 
immediately, so that I can now send 3 XO-1 (from 2008) and 3 new XO-1.5 
laptops, along with USB-to-Ethernet adapters.

2) Please read OLPC's freshly announced Software Strategy here:

3) Join this mailing list, and use it!  Use a separate gmail/yahoo

4) Start a live conversation here any time of day -- this is critically 
important for new people especially so they can learn all the tricks 
they need!  One fast way to do this is to click on

5) Please test the XO-1's prerelease 10.1.2 builds, starting with Build 
300 here:

    Someone will of course need to install a Developer Key on these 
older XO-1 laptops:

6) Please test hot-off-the-press XO-1.5 release 10.1.1 here, until its 
own 10.1.2 prereleases arrive soon:

7) Tell us when the above is advancing -- so James Cameron can explain 
in coming weeks how to test Activity Collaboration between XO-1 and XO-1.5.

8) New Zealanders Tim McNamara and Tabitha Rhoder will help us all 
evaluate how automated/regression testing might (or might not) 
eventually work with their very successful community testing group:
