I've got a "permanent" SD card with hundreds and hundreds of images on
it.  For me the Thumbnail Activity takes multiple minutes on the XO-1 to
show the screen with the thumbnails -- on Sugar 0.90 that's way past the
time when the activity_launch_screen times out (and incorrectly informs
me that Thumbnail failed to start).
